As the push to practice Inquiry in social studies - the act of asking questions, seeking the answers, creating, evaluating and critiquing evidentiary support, and communicating conclusions - become ever more prevelant in Michigan's social studies classrooms, it's important that educational teams begin examining and implementing effective inquiry-based practices in their classrooms. This three-part series will provide a road map and opportunities for collaboration and development of inquiry practices across the ISD.
