WHAT IS THE GREAT START EARLY CHILDHOOD PARENT COALITION?
The Great Start Early Childhood Parent Coalition includes parents, grandparents, caregivers and professional who are involved with young children in Mecosta and Osceola counties. We are always looking for involved members to keep our "voice" strong and enthusiastic for young children.
The purpose of the coalition is to increase parent participation in early childhood planning and decision-making for the counties.
THE COALITION: 2009 Accomplishments
Serves as a "voice" for parents in their community.
Assists in building public support for early childhood as an investment
Supports and participates in the assessment and strategic planning work of the Great Start Collaborative
Strengthens the commitment of parents in the community, on behalf of young children.
