| PROGRAM OVERVIEW |
The Welding and Fabrication program provides students with welding and cutting skills necessary for entry into the welding profession. Some students will choose to pursue higher education that can lead to even greater career opportunities: i.e. engineering, consulting, inspection services, etc.

| PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS |
Welding classroom activities include oxy-fuel welding/cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, plasma arc cutting, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, welding/cutting and general shop safety.

| CAREER OPPORTUNITIES |
Some career opportunities in the welding field are production welders, welding fabricator, steel construction, welding engineering, welding sales, consulting/inspection services and welding educator/trainer (industrial). |
