| PROGRAM OVERVIEW |
The Public Safety Program will introduce high school juniors and seniors to various job possibilities within the public safety field. The focus of the program will include lecture material, hands on experiences, job shadowing and wellness training.

| PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS |
Public Safety encompasses police work, firefighting, EMS, courts, corrections and emergency dispatch. Students may articulate college credit, learn CPR and first aid, take weekly visits to a fitness facility, obtain co-op opportunities and take field trips to various public safety departments.

| CAREER OPPORTUNITIES |
Career opportunities in the public safety field include police officer, fireman, EMS technician, court personnel, corrections officer, emergency dispatcher, forensic science, lab technician and Homeland Security positions. |
