PROGRAM OVERVIEW Today's world of engineering and precision technology is high tech and always expanding with new technology.  Companies seek employees with high level technical skills to remain competitive.  Students learn with hands on experience in a variety of industry trades.

 

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Students in the engineering and precision technology class will build on basic skills in all areas and continue through 2nd year projects.  Apprenticeships and co-op positions are available to students.  Students will gain life long knowledge and skills applicable to plastics, machining, CAD/CAM, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, quality control and electrical systems as well as develop strong work ethic principles such as dependability, attitude and initiative.

 

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Some career opportunities available in the engineering and precision technology field are tool and die maker, machinist, quality control specialist, CAD/CAM/CNC operator, robotics technician, machine repair, mechanical/electrical/plastics technician and sales associate.
