MOISD Employee Technology Survey August 2007

The MOISD provides a wide assortment of up-to-date technology to help us better serve our local districts and each other. As MOISD employees we are expected to continuously expand our skills to make the best use of these tools.

Building on the successful technology project undertaken by the professional staff from Career/Technical, General and Special Education last year, we would like to move forward this year and help you design a technology goal that fits your unique needs. Our District Technology Plan calls for employees to design individual Professional Development Plans for Technology (PDPT).  A Technology Sub Committee has created a survey covering several areas of technology usage.  Not every employee needs to know everything in every area but this survey is to be used as a tool to help identify some targets areas.  Understanding this, and keeping in mind the variety of unique roles we fill, please complete the survey below. You will be provided with your survey results to use at your Technology Session during our Back-to-School Professional Development days as you will work through a process that will assist you in setting your unique technology goals and project.

The questions below are not all inclusive of our capabilities but will allow you to think about the possibilities in each area.  If you can think of another skill/area you would like to know more about, please make a note and contact your supervisor or director.  Your answers will be kept confidential and will be used as baseline data for future training and technology planning.

Thanks for your cooperation!
