Elementary Projects
This year the MOISD Math/Science/Technology Center hosted the first annual Elementary Science Fair. Eighty-one (81) elementary projects were displayed representing seven (7) elementary schools. (Big Rapids; Hillcrest Elementary, Riverview Elementary, Chippewa Hills Weidman Elementary, Evart Elementary, Morley Stanwood; Stanwood Elementary and St. Peter's Lutheran Elementary School) These school sent students to participate in the event as did Big Rapids Brookside Elementary and Chippewa Hills Mecosta Elementary.

Over 150 elementary students gathered at FSU's Convocation Center for a presentation then a picnic lunch. Following lunch, they joined the middle and high school students in the Rankin Center where the projects were on display.
Area elementary students enjoy sharing and discussing their projects.

The projects covered a variety of topics.
