The MOISD
Math/Science/Technology Center hosted the 2003
Regional Science & Engineering Fair on Thursday, March 20, 2003.
This event took place on the Ferris State University
campus in the Ice Arena Convocation Center located at the south end of Big
Rapids on State Street. In honor of the Centennial of the Wright Brother's
Flight, the theme for this year's event was: "Soar Into Science". A
grand total of 690 students participated from the following schools:
| Elementary--Big Rapids
Brookside, Hillcrest, and Riverview; Chippewa Hills Barryton, Mecosta,
Remus and Weidman; Evart Elementary; Morley Stanwood's Stanwood
Elementary; Reed City G.T. Norman and Upper Elementary; St. Mary's and St.
Peter's Elementary.
Middle School: Big Rapids Middle School, Chippewa Hills Intermediate, Crossroads Charter 7-8th grades, Evart Middle School, Morley Stanwood Middle School, Reed City Middle School, St. Mary's Middle School and St. Peter's Middle School. High School: Chippewa Hills High School, Crossroads Charter Academy, Reed City High School and the Math/Science/Technology Center High School Program. |
