| Our Technology Outreach and Special Projects
Coordinator is Sharrie R. Parke. Sharrie comes to the MOISD with an
extensive background in both technology and library science. The Big
Rapids Public Schools employed Sharrie for sixteen years as the
Elementary Media Coordinator where she was an integral part of the
summer science course Project Earth, after which she was promoted to
High School Media Specialist where she served the district for two years. We are very lucky to have someone with her vast experience in
the field of technology. Sharrie completed a computer science minor
during her undergraduate work and a Masters of Science degree in Career and Technical
Education. Sharrie authored an elementary computer curriculum and has
assisted many teachers in implementing a wide variety of technology in
their classrooms. The Math/Science/Technology Outreach program will be
expanding its workshops under Sharrie’s guidance to include;
Filimentality, Webquests, Connectivity, Classroom Connect, Teach for
Tomorrow as well as other programs. |
