The Mecosta Osceola Math & Science Center is one of 33 regional centers in the Michigan Mathematics and Science Centers Network.  These Centers provide leadership, curriculum support, professional development, and student services to local districts across Michigan.  Centers also serve as a resource clearinghouses for educational materials and work to foster community involvement in the areas of mathematics, science and engineering.  These services help support the delivery of high quality mathematics and science education for the students of Michigan. Seven Centers provide an Accelerated High School Program.
 


Strategic Plan Goals for Professional Development:

PD1:   The Center will be a provider of Math staff development through the MMLA, and LEA Middle School and high school professional learning communities.
PD2:   The center will be a provider of technology integration staff development through our Outreach Programs.
PD3:   The Center will facilitate Science staff development through middle and high school professional learning communities, K-7 Science Content Expectation  rollout and unpacking 
            activities, the regional K-12  Science & 
Engineering fair and other Outreach  Program Initiatives.
