Every school district in the state of Michigan has a Homeless Liaison that is available to assist families in housing transitions and homeless children and youth. You can contact any of our local district liaisons at the contact numbers listed below:

Definition of Homeless according to McKinney-Vento Legislation

The law says that a child or youth without a fixed, regular and adequate residence is homeless. It does not matter how long the child or youth has been without a home.
